A Study of Joseph

Through the lens of scripture, we will study the story of Joseph, to examine our own hurts and sufferings; (trials with family, abandonment, and heart-break.) Joseph’s story doesn’t gloss over the presence of evil. We will see in detail Joseph’s family dynamics: favoritism and deception passed down by His father Jacob; jealousy, hatred and a plot to take Joseph’s life by his own brothers.  Joseph shows forgiveness and kindness instead of vengeance and hate.  We will see how God took a terrible ordeal and used it for His divine and beautiful plan.
